Proverbs 1:8-9 “Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and forsake not your mother’s teaching, for they are a graceful garland for your head and pendants for your neck.”

It’s difficult being a parent and raising kids to adulthood. Then once they become adults, it is still difficult navigating life. They, like us, have their own minds, own gifts, strengths, weaknesses and sins. Whether good or bad, the choices parents make raising children are geared towards keeping the safe, protect them. Yet they become adults and the parent can no longer protect them, or keep them safe.

Hopefully, the instruction they learn, and the teaching they have been taught is there at the right time when they need it.
